Scaling Community-Led TB Response and Monitoring: NTBLCP OneImpact Tool Rollout
Through a successful collaboration with the National Tuberculosis, Buruli Ulcer and Leprosy Control Programme (NTBLCP), the OneImpact tool was introduced as a community-centered digital solution to enhance Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) in Nigeria's TB response. Piloted in 10 selected states from April 2025, the initiative focused on building stakeholder capacity through live demonstrations, hands-on training, and technical walkthroughs of the tool’s features. Participants engaged actively, providing valuable feedback to inform future enhancements.
With its scalable design and sustainability potential, the OneImpact tool ensures TB-affected individuals can access care, report service delivery issues, and receive support across the continuum of care. This marks a major step forward in digitally transforming Nigeria’s TB response through inclusive, community-driven innovation.
Community-Led Monitoring and Digital Tools: Empowering HIV-Affected Communities
The Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) approach, supported through the Community iMonitor App, empowers people living with HIV to play an active role in monitoring the accessibility and quality of HIV services. By reporting barriers to care, communities strengthen accountability, promote people-centered services, and drive improved health outcomes. To support this initiative, NEPWHAN conducted cluster level CLM training for Community Health Workers (CHWs) in select states. Dure Technologies, represented by its CLM/Surveillance Coordinator and assistant, participated in the Kaduna training for CHWs, volunteers from Bauchi and Maiduguri states respectively.
As the developer of the iMonitor App, Dure provided technical demonstrations, addressed feedback, and identified areas for system improvement, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to the app’s successful deployment. The training also covered core CLM concepts and M&E practices, integration of Gender and Human Rights (GHR) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) into CLM, ethical standards, Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH) protocols, and financial procedures, real-time reporting using the iMonitor app’s modules (e.g., Know Your Rights, Report an Issue) and stimulation exercises to build hands-on experience.
From Data to Action: Community System Strengthening (CSS) Integration, a drive towards community led monitoring and intervention.
Dure participated in a meeting organized by ACOMIN, with the aim of engaging with other CSO’s (NEPWHAN & TB Network) and other stakeholders to discuss the CSS integration. The meeting centred on valuable inputs, and suggestions on how to achieve the intended objectives. The engagement emphasized the transformative role of digital technology in enhancing healthcare access, quality, and efficiency. Key discussions centered on the need for harmonized data integration with a shared vision of consolidating insights into a unified platform and triangulation with other existing tools and databases. This integration is essential for enabling evidence-based interventions to improve the availability, accessibility, acceptability, and quality of healthcare services, especially at the community level while addressing critical issues such as human rights, stigma, and discrimination among affected communities and key populations.
Our contribution toward the development of the CSS dashboard is expected to be both strategic and impactful, driving more coordinated and data-informed interventions. Hence, reinforcing our unwavering commitment to harnessing technology for inclusive and data-driven advancements within the healthcare systems and across other sectors.
Strategic Mission to Leading Organizations in Nigeria
As part of its strategic growth initiative, Dure Technologies embarked on a high-level mission to engage with key institutions across Nigeria. The goal was to explore collaborative opportunities, showcase Dure’s cutting-edge technological solutions, and strengthen potential partnerships. Organizations visited included the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA), National Health Insurance Agency (NHIA), PLAN International Nigeria, Foreign Investment Nigeria (FIN), NEM Insurance, Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PSHAN), and the Lagos State Ministry of Health. The mission focused on presenting Dure’s advanced AI and blockchain-powered dashboards, health surveillance platforms, and digital development tools tailored to address sector-specific needs. Discussions centered on creating value through innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, improving data integrity, and fostering digital transformation. This strategic outreach highlighted Dure’s versatile technology portfolio and laid the groundwork for impactful partnerships across Nigeria’s public and private sectors.
